Kenya Fashion Awards is actually what launched my mainstream fashion culture. From the days Mr Atman and Galina Tatarinova allowed me to lead in Training the models, Direct the photoshoots and be wild and crazy with the creative process, I was elevated to someone I am today that everyone admires.
The Kenya Fashion Awards certificate of recommendation was so huge because this was an international and also African giant.
I owe everything to the Kenya Fashion Awards. I was named a FASHION ICON by the BBC because I had to break those walls using the tools I learned. It was my playground, the blueprint and true epitome of pulchritude. Nowadays I look back and admire that alchemy.

Kenya Fashion Awards, granted me a great opportunity to know what really high fashion is, an opportunity to interact and meet high fashion models, designers who had made it in the fashion industry.
I had an incredible experience walking for high esteemed brands & I also learned how to present myself as a model.
Through Kenya fashion awards, I was noticed by designers, photographers & brands that offered me an opportunity to work and collaborate with them, which I’m truly grateful for.
I also met my best friend from the academy and it’s been 9 years of great friendships which I cherish every moment.
I also learned the essence of personal branding, and how it would impact my life as an upcoming model & separate me from any ordinary “model” .
My experience was the best and my foot in the fashion industry was fully built and established through KFA & I’m forever grateful.
